ANFAS Collection

A Sensory Voyage

Anfas. In Arabic means breaths, the plural of nafas, the single breath.
A breath is the smallest unit of being alive. It is also the smallest unit of fragrance. To breathe is to take the world in. To breathe a scent is to let it become part of you, for a moment, before you let it go.

This is where the brand begins.
With a word that names what fragrance has always done

The single breath

A Sensory Voyage

In Arabic culture, fragrance has never been decoration. It has always been a way of marking time. Of welcoming a guest. Of remembering. The bakhoor burned in the corner of a room before visitors arrive. The rose water sprinkled on the hands of someone leaving. The oud pressed into a palm so that a person carries the breath of a place with them, into the rest of their life.

Fragrance as hospitality. Scent as care.

This is the tradition Anfas was built from. Not borrowed. Not interpreted. Continued.

The collection is his life translated into scent. "The entire collection is inspired by the environment in which I've grown. The Arabic hospitality and on the seasons changing in the desert".

The materials he chooses are the materials of the place that made him. Oud. Sambac jasmine. Frankincense. Rose. The smell of stone at dawn. The air of a courtyard. Memory translated into something portable.

His work is a bridge between past and present. An invitation to experience the essence of his culture with every breath.

Before Anfas was a brand,
 there was a tradition.

Asim Al Qassim is the founder of Anfas and the nose behind every fragrance in the collection.
